No, per North Carolina law, licensing is required for the following:
• Projects whose cost exceed $30k
• Electrical work
• Plumbing if project involves reworking or adding to plumbing system
• HVAC
• Fire Alarm
My focus is small projects, not large ones. For projects exceeding $30k, a complete kitchen remodel for example, you’ll want to hire a licensed contractor. Need help finding a good one? Just let me know.
We cannot work on plumbing lines, but we can replace toilets, install new shower heads and fix leaking faucets.

While I try to put out a comprehensive list of everything I do, there are things I am bound to miss. Please contact me with what you need done and I’ll let you know. If I can’t do it, I’ll do my best to put you in touch with someone who can.
Do you serve areas outside Apex, Holly Springs & Fuquay-Varina?
Yes, but depending on the location there may be a trip charge.

I have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 20 years of professional experience in mechanical & electrical design, so I’m book smart as well as tool savvy. I don’t believe in good enough, more often than not my goal is just shy of perfect. I have two boys so I realize the importance of keeping the work area safe and clear of hazards. Lastly, I’ve been a customer myself, so I pay close attention to detail and always clean up after myself.
I'm having trouble finding reliable contractors to do things outside your scope such as roofing, electrical work, etc. Can you recommend anyone?
I’m part of a business networking group in Holly Springs made up of similar-minded business owners. In other words, people who put the customer first and focus on delivering the best service possible. So I know several reliable companies if you need something done that I can’t do. Even if you don’t need me for anything but you’re having trouble finding a good roofer or the like, don’t hesitate to contact me. I like helping people and would much rather spend a few minutes helping you find a solid company than have you waste time looking and hoping the person you do find is dependable.
